Nigeria: “From Funmi to Bukka”

In the 80s or 90s, there was no better programme than the ‘Maggi Family Kitchen’ hosted by Funmi Adeoye. That lady turned up all sorts of African and continental dishes, urging you to try making them yourself at home. She was the quintessential chef! However, that programme rested. And if you still love to taste some great dishes without having to prepare them yourself, then you should visit the Bukka Restaurant.

The Bukka Restaurant is a classy restaurant where guests can enjoy authentic Nigerian cuisines. Located within Abuja’s Transcorp Hilton Hotel, it serves guests with mouth-watering breakfast, lunch and dinner meals in sumptuous buffet style. The restaurant has exquisite African-style dark woods which flush against natural light streams. All kinds of visitors, local and foreign, business persons and holiday makers throng this top restaurant. With a smart-casual dress code for diners, you are always welcome to this pleasant restaurant set in the heart of Africa’s giant.
